The Dell WD15 Doclking Station is compatible with laptops that have a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort over USB-C alternate mode or Thunderbolt 3. The WD15 docking station is not compatible with all USB-C ports.
Dell laptops that require more than 130W power input must be connected to their own power adapter for charging and operating at full performance. Laptops that require 130W power input require a 180W power supply to be used with the dock to charge the laptop correctly, laptops requiring 90W or less power input require a 130W power supply with the dock to charge the laptop correctly.
